Gus Cedillos is a seasoned sales professional and trusted client advocate with a diverse background spanning international sales, real estate, and financial services. With over a decade of experience working directly with clients, Gus brings a relationship-first mindset and a strong strategic foundation to everything he does.
Prior to entering real estate, Gus spent more than five years with ARGCO (Allied Rubber & Gasket Company), where he served as an International Sales Manager. In that role, he worked closely with global clients, managed complex accounts, and helped drive long-term business relationships across multiple markets. This experience sharpened his ability to communicate clearly, navigate high-stakes decisions, and deliver solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Gus later transitioned into residential real estate, where he has spent the past several years helping families buy and sell homes throughout the North Dallas area. As a licensed real estate professional, he became known for his data-driven approach, strong negotiation skills, and commitment to educating clients so they can make confident, well-informed decisions during major life transitions.
Today, Gus is licensed in insurance and serves as the Manager of Client Services at Island Wealth Strategies. In this role, he works closely with clients to ensure a seamless experience, helping individuals and families understand their options around protection, planning, and long-term financial security. His background in sales, real estate, and client education uniquely positions him to bridge the gap between financial strategy and real-world life planning.
Outside of work, Gus is a devoted husband to his lovely wife, Karla, and a proud father to Domenick and Brielle. Their family also includes their spirited chihuahua, Dixie. Faith and family are central to Gus’s life, and he believes a God-centered home is the foundation for strong values, wise stewardship, and lasting legacy. That same belief carries into his professional life, where integrity, service, and people always come first.
